Function: This instrument is a matrix-assisted laser desorption/ionization reflectron time of flight mass spectrometer used for analysis of polymers, peptides, oligonucleotides, or proteins.
Features: Source: 200 Hz frequency tripled Nd:YAG laser (355 nm) supports:Matrix-assisted laser desorption/ionization (MALDI, positive and negative ion modes)o Laser desorption/ionization (LDI, positive ion mode)o 10 µm laser spot size for MALDI imaging (FlexImaging software installed). Plates: 384-well stainless steel plate, Bruker AnchorChip, Hudson Surface technology plate (hydrophobic and untreated) Mass analyzer: linear time-of-flight or reflectron time-of-flight. Mass Range: m/z 400-150,000 (linear, MALDI);o m/z 200-8,000 (reflectron, MALD/LDI). Mass accuracy: (all assume quadratic curve fit with 4 calibrants):o Reflectron, external calibration: ±20 ppm, ±5 ppm internal cal.o Linear, ext. cal.
