Model: 6890N GC and 5973 MSD
Function: The 8690N-5973 MSD is a gas chromatograph with a quadrupole mass spectrometer using electron ionization. The multipurpose sampler allows for automated sample preparation and introduction while the thermal desorption system allows analysis of trapped volatile and semi-volatile organics and headspace sampling of volatile reaction products. The system is also used for targeted GC/MS metabolomics and organic reaction monitoring by GC/MS.
