Laerdal Medical SimCapture Audio/Video Recording
Model: Laerdal Medical SimCapture
Function: Record multicamera video and audio with capability of adding additional digital video input devices such as monitor screens. All inputs synchronized into a cloud-based viewing system for viewing anywhere with broadband connection. System is time stamped and allows annotation either live or post recording. Custom documentation forms are possible to generate checklists or other survey tools embedded in the system.
Each room features two HD video cameras with full PTZ capabilities, ceiling mounted microphone with two wearable microphones available, and digital video input (HDMI) for other video devices.
Resource is located in the Interprofessional Simulation Center in the Health Sciences Building on the Bloomington Regional Academic Health Center campus.
Seven separate rooms with video and audio recording are available, each with an observation area with one-way glass window and a separate room for live video viewing. Viewing can also be done remotely.
While designed for healthcare education and training, resource can be used for other purposes where synchronized video, audio, and annotation/documentation may be required such as product or prototype testing.
Ample electrical outlets, compressed air, medical vacuum, oxygen, variable lighting, and sink with running water in each room.
For healthcare product or process testing, multiple beds types are available along with a variety of clinical equipment and supplies. High-technology computer-controlled full-bodied patient simulators are also available.
Ideal environment to develop and test healthcare products, but adaptable for other uses.
